POSITION VACANT - SENIOR ARENA ATTENDANT

Salary Based at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre with an annual salary of $38, 837 the role includes five weeks annual leave per annum.
Information Sydney Olympic Park Venues are seeking an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to fill this exciting position as part of the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre operations team.

Selection Criteria
  • Relevant event and operations experience and understanding.
  • Sporting discipline experience
  • Customer service and communication skills.
Key Job Requirements
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of venue operations and events.
  • Actively plan, prioritise and coordinate a range of operational activities and tasks.
  • Maintaining and prepare Centre equipment, assets and facilities in readiness for venue operations and events.
  • Reporting, liaising and communication with senior staff and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and direct casual staff to ensure venue supervision is adequately maintained and operational requirements are fulfilled.
  • Promoting a positive team-working environment.
  • Motivated hands-on attitude.
Other Information
  • This role as the Senior Arena Attendant requires out of hours, weekend and public holiday work, meeting the requirement of the events industry and venue operations. Only flexible applicants will be considered.
  • Knowledge of athletic disciplines and ball sports will be regarded highly. 
  • The successful applicant will be required to maintain qualifications in Senior First Aid and Advance Resuscitation (Oxygen Therapy).
  • This position has been designated as child related employment. The successful applicant will be subject to the Working with Children Check.
  • Only Australian citizens or permanent Australian residents are eligible to apply.
